JOB- Technical Sales Engineer
LOCATION- Maidstone
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £30,000 to £40,000 per annum (plus commission and benefits)
Premier Engineering is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join a leading engineering company in Maidstone. This role involves developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing technical expertise, and driving sales growth for the business.
The Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in technical sales within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong technical knowledge of engineering products and solutions
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
A proactive and customer-focused approach
Ability to understand and present complex technical solutions
Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as requiredThe Technical Sales Engineer role will involve:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the target market
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing technical support and advice
Preparing and delivering technical presentations to clients
Creating tailored proposals and quotations to meet customer requirements
Collaborating with internal teams, including design and production, to ensure customer satisfaction
Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
Achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall business strategy
