Bid Manager

As our Bid Manager, you’ll join our established Bids and Proposals team, working on a dynamic pipeline of opportunities across our health, wellbeing and clinical services. This exciting and varied role offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders from across the business and grow professionally.
Reporting to the Senior Bid Manager, you will be able to confidently manage the end-to-end production of fully compliant bid/tender submissions which exceed customer expectations and maximise win likelihood.
As our Bid Manager, you will:
* Manage the end-to-end production of successful proposals
* Collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to meet tender deadlines
* Create new written and graphic materials and review/edit existing content
* Champion the established bid processes
* Support the production of bespoke presentation resources
* Add value to the continual development and embedding of best practices
* Support the Bid and Contract Executives in their absence by managing key responsibilities, including monitoring and responding to the shared mail inbox, assisting in the establishment and maintenance of contracts for the B2B Account team, proactively engaging with clients and stakeholders, and managing the process of contract renewals to ensure seamless continuity and high service standards.
As our Bid Manager, you bring:
* Bid/tender/proposal experience (min. 3 years), in a mix of public sector and corporate bids
* Good understanding of different types of procurement processes (proposals/Direct contract/DPS/Frameworks etc.)
* Honours degree or equivalent
* Self-motivation and comfortable working independently
* Confident leading stakeholder engagement and coordinating activity
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (inc. MS Office suite)
* Effective time management/prioritisation and project management skills
* Ability to balance multiple projects with complex and conflicting demands
Desirable but not essential:
* Relevant health, wellbeing and clinical services industry experience
* APMP membership and/or certification
* PRINCE2 or other project management qualification
