Area Sales Manager
The Role: As an Area Sales Manager you will be targeting Independent Builders Merchants who are part of buying groups such as the NMBS (40%), Agricultural Merchants (20%), and Independent Garden & DIY businesses (40%) across the Home Counties, London, and Hampshire area. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for around 100 spending accounts whilst bringing on new customers in the region. The role is fully autonomous and trust is key as you will be effectively running the area like your own business. This role is heavily account management in it's focus and will suit a relationship led sales person who is great with people and representing a brand.
The Area Sales Manager will have support from the directors, marketing, and other ASM's in the UK. You will have autonomy on pricing, promotions, and rebates which put commercial decision making firmly in your hands. There is a lot of trust and respect put on the team in this business which is really empowering and ensures you can get on with the job the way in which you want to do it.
Requirements: To be considered for the Area Sales Manager role you must:
· Have a track record selling to Independent Merchants/DIY/Garden Centre sectors
· Be a natural relationship builder
· Have an attention to detail & maintain high presentation standards
· Ideally come from a tools, ironmongery, or fixings background
· Be an effective communicator & negotiator

The Package for Area Sales Manager is:
· Basic: £35-40k DOE
· Bonus paid quarterly: £5k-7k per year
