Manrose, part of Volution Ventilation UK, trades with all major UK electrical wholesalers. Manrose manufactures a full range of domestic extractor fans, ducting, and ventilation accessories. We also cover electric heating with panel heaters and hand dryers in keeping with the heating and ventilation market.
Job Profile:
As the Manrose Regional Sales Manager (Northeast), you will be responsible for building relationships with electrical wholesalers, builders merchants, heating & ventilation accounts, and OEM accounts (original equipment manufacturer) within the North East region including; Carlisle, Newcastle, Darlington, Harrogate, Leeds, York, and Hull.
As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Achieving market share growth within target market, increasing sales within the region.
* Identifying new product opportunities and leading activities within the region.
* Developing and tracking target market growth plans with target sales.
* Developing and implementing market communications programs/campaigns to support the target market share position.
* Identifying different sales strategies for different product groups.
* Creating a call plan to facilitate regular contact with the regional customer base and share on Outlook.
* Creating annual sales forecasts, split by buying groups, independents, and product group.
* Gaining commercial understanding and engaging in the delivery and ongoing management of regional and private rebate schemes to drive sales growth.
* Developing relationships with key personnel within your customer base at the right level.
* Growing OTC sales by actively pushing and gaining promotional orders.
* Continuously increasing business knowledge and learning new skills through a combination of training and personal development.
* Effectively communicating with the support teams at the Head Office.
* Producing and issuing weekly reports on time and accurately to your manager showing development of the EWS market.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* 1-3 years of proven sales experience within the electrical trade, distribution, or wholesale industry.
* To be based within the region with accessible travel routes to meet clients (Carlisle, Newcastle, Darlington, Harrogate, Leeds, York, and Hull).
* Understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to build value propositions to suit customer needs.
* Ability to grasp technical issues and deliver solutions to suit customer needs.
* Capability to structure area of responsibility to deliver key objectives and define a balanced set of targets and measures aligned with delivery of the plan.
* Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM tools (Phocas).
* A valid driving license.
