Senior Chef De Partie - Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Location: THE PIG - and The Village Pub, Cirencester
Salary: OTE of up to £15.50 per hour, plus service charge
Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week.

In January 2024, we acquired the 17th century Barnsley House hotel that is tucked away in the quintessential Cotswold's village of Barnsley, just four miles from Cirencester. THE PIG in the Cotswolds offers guests a classic example of an English country garden that evolves with the seasons including a kitchen garden that will supply the produce found on our 25-mile menu.
We are delighted to start the recruitment for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade.
The Role:
As Senior Chef de Partie you will manage one of the 4 sections of the kitchen. You will have the opportunity to oversee each section to share your knowledge with the junior chefs.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* A roll-up your sleeve, get stuck in approach to all tasks assigned by the Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef. Supporting the Chef de Parties within each section as/when required.
* Working collaboratively, ensuring your section meets to timescales.
* Preparation and cooking of meat, fish, veg including hot & cold starters and main courses.
* Supporting the pastry section as/when required.
* Ensuring a clean and organised workstation.
* Providing support with the development and skills of the junior chefs and apprentices.
