Job Description:
This job is responsible for independently processing complex transactions supporting the movement of account assets and other fulfillment processing. Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of issue resolution, working across multiple operations and product specialists, and ensuring procedures are clearly documented and up to date. Job expectations include supporting projects, initiatives and preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
Responsibilities:
* Leads end-to-end resolution of complex client issues and inquiries, including research, escalation and approvals for items with high levels of monetary risk
* Drives execution of complex financial and non-financial client transactions
* Supports process improvements, requirements, and initiatives across multiple stakeholders
* Performs quality assurance reviews, testing, and training to ensure high performance accuracy of performance metrics and quality standards
* Supports risk management and audit processes, including identification of issues, development of mitigation strategies, and exam preparation
* Reviews and updates written procedures to ensure accuracy
* Supports operational team projects and production of executive-level reports and presentations for senior management as needed
Line of Business Job Description:
The Securities Settlement and Custody Operations group plays a significant role within Wealth Management Operations (WMO). The organization is responsible for Clearing & Settlement for various Pierce and Private Bank distribution channels, servicing Private Bank Securities on PACE, Fund Relationship and Onboarding Mutual Fund & Alternative Investments.
The Marketing Services and Support Team is responsible for the initial setup and maintenance of Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Unit Investment Trusts, and various other product types for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and US Trust. There are over 1,400 system indicators supporting more than 31,000 cusips. The team also participates in evaluations and subsequent scoring of the fund company's performance in accordance with operating standards at Merrill Lynch.
The role is responsible for being the key point-of-contact for over 400 mutual fund companies.
Key responsibilities include:
* Schedule and organize onsite and/or virtual visits for all key relationships, inclusive of:
o Domestic and offshore mutual fund companies
o Alternative Investment groups
o Transfer Agents
o Point-of-contact for large corporate events
* Coordinate, plan and schedule as needed across all organizations
* Maintain database of all relationships
o Contacts
o Key data
o Fund company profiles
* Representation in key industry organizations
o NICSA
o ICI
* Dissemination of large trade notifications
* Engagement of internal fund partners
* Mutual Fund Scorecard production
* SOC1 distribution and tracking
* Point-of-contact for all mass outreaches
Required Skills:
