Our client, a manufacturer of bespoke products, is looking for a Sales Order Administrator who has excellent customer service skills with experience in providing quotes and pricing for works, along with a keen attention to detail.
You must be comfortable liaising with customers both over the telephone and via email, as well as with internal teams.
Duties include:
1. Receiving and reviewing customer orders/quotes to ensure accuracy
2. Entering orders into the system promptly and precisely
3. Responding to quotes as efficiently as possible
4. Communicating with customers regarding order status and updates
5. Following up outstanding quotes with the customer
6. Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment
7. Resolving any order discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally
Experience and skills:
1. Proven experience in order processing or a similar role
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
3. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously
4. Proficient in using order processing software or systems
5. Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
Working Hours:
07:30am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary:
£25,000 - £27,500 per year
