As anElectricalDesign Engineer, you will be joining a small design team where you will beresponsiblefor the design and laying out ofelectricalsystems, completing engineering drawings, completing engineering BoMs for multi-stage steam turbines. You will be expected to work independently and lead projects with a high level of customer expectation. Your designs will need to meet stringent customer specifications, be delivered on time, in full, to schedule and budget. What will you do - Design and layouts of new electrical systems in the CAD models - Responsible for new systems and making relevant changes - Creation of Electrical P&ID's - Creation & build electrical BoM's and wiring schedules, ready for input to Manufacturing System, ready for procurement and build - Interrogate current designs and develop or modify to suit relevant customer requirements - Design electrical schematics, single line diagrams, panel & junction box arrangements using AutoCAD Electrical, to IEC and BS EN Standards as appropriate - Produce wiring diagrams/harnesses for 3rd party manufacture/supply - Manage relevant stakeholders' expectations and deliver required documentation on time, in full and right first time - Plan and manage projects and sub-project deliverables - Work with multi-discipline teams to produce a complete system - Ensure agreed customer specifications are met and implemented throughout the scope of supply What do you bring An ideal candidate would likely have the following experience - Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD Electrical/ E3 CAD or similar, including ideally experience of setting up embedded ICD data and blocks. Further, company standard software including Microsoft Office - Strong understanding of electrical P&ID drawings and experience of constructing them - Experience of designing routing systems for cable tray, instrumentation cabling and power - Good understanding and discipline with Product Data Management ie. experience of working with revision-controlled libraries, change management and drawing release - Experience of dealing with complex customer specifications - Degree qualified or HND with the relevant industrial experience in Engineering We've put together some criteria that we think is important for this role, but don't worry if your experience and expertise isn't an exact match.
