Description
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Community Adult Complex Care Nurse to join our clients team. This rewarding role focuses on supporting clients with complex medical conditions such as neurological conditions, spinal injuries, or trauma. You’ll play a key role in managing client care, leading training for carers, and ensuring high-quality care in the community.
Key responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and review person-centred care plans.
* Deliver hands-on training for tracheostomy care and ventilation.
* Provide high-quality clinical care adhering to best practices.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, families, and carers.
* Offer emotional support, advocacy, and guidance.
* Assess client needs and develop care plans tailored to them.
Requirements:
* Adult Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
* Significant experience in adult critical or complex care settings.
* Ability to manage tracheostomy care, ventilation, and PEG feeding.
* Strong teaching and mentoring abilities for carers.
* Calm, empathetic, client-centred approach with strong organisation.
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
