Role: Project Manager
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: 70,000/ 75,000 + Package (DOE)
Our client, a regional contractor, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes throughout Yorkshire.
Job Description:
* Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
* Coordinating Site & Utility preparation (pre-construction)
* Creating work schedules to ensure projects are completed before deadlines
* Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
* Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively, and to a high standard
* Monitoring construction budgets to minimize overspending
* Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings
* Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Liaising with Site Management regarding build programmes and updates
