Scotland- Edinburgh - Loanhead
The McDermott Group are recruiting for an Office Administrator for a leading group of companies at their office in Loanhead Edinburgh.
This position is perfect for someone seeking an entry-level opportunity to grow and develop their skills in Office Administration.
Overview of the Role:
* Office Administrator
* Salary – £25,400.00
* Full-time / Permanent
* Holidays: 30 days. 1 additional day per year of service, maximum of 5. Holiday buy back scheme of additional 5 days.

Responsibilities
* Follow company policies and procedures
* Provide administrative support to the business
* Maintaining various databases to improve business functionality
* Document Management
* Scheduling appointments
* Call handling – be the first point of contact and managing the office phone lines
* Handle all telephone enquiries from customers, suppliers, staff, and more and direct them to the correct department
* Dealing with purchase requisitions and provide admin support to purchasing team where required
* Ensure employees are submitting their vehicle safety check sheets, fuel receipts and following procedures set by the business
* Support and carry out any other ad hoc admin duties, as and when required.
Minimum Requirements
* Experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
* Familiarity with office management procedures
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate at all levels
* Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel proficient
* Ability to multitask
* Desire to make positive impact at work – e.g., suggesting process improvement, offering to help others.
