The Role: Key Responsibilities Operational: Manage workflow, ensuring tasks are updated and progress is communicated to clients and the team. Mentor and train new administrators, including graduates. Handle fee reconciliation and update systems. Build in-house portfolios on selected platforms Assist with bi-annual portfolio adjustments and rebalancing. Oversee the admin inbox and maintain relationships with provider representatives. Client Support: Liaise with clients and providers, building strong relationships. Compile review packs, valuations, and personalised fact finds. Support paraplanners with application forms, illustrations, and documentation. Track and manage new business submissions and maintain forecasting accuracy. Assist clients with general requests and maintain tax packs. Research & Development: Stay updated on industry products and regulatory changes. Engage in professional development and maintain CPD requirements. Continuously question and improve processes to ensure efficiency without sacrificing quality. The Ideal Candidate: Experience in financial administration, ideally in an independent firm. Familiar with platforms like Aviva, AJ Bell, and Abrdn; Xplan experience is a plus. Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player. Comfortable challenging processes and suggesting improvements. Client-focused, reliable, and results-driven. What’s on Offer? Salary: £35,000–£42,000 DOE. Benefits:23 days holiday (plus one extra per year, capped at 30). 5% pension contribution with salary sacrifice. Death in service (after 6 months) and income protection (after 12 months).
