Role: Legal PA / Office Manager
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Work type: Monday to Friday, permanent
The Role:
1. Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
2. Client Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for clients, managing communications and ensuring a high level of client service.
3. Office Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including ordering supplies, managing office equipment, and coordinating maintenance.
4. Billing and Invoicing: Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, track billable hours, and manage accounts receivable.
5. Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel arrangements for legal staff, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation.
6. Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare for meetings, including setting up conference calls, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
7. Research: Conduct legal research and gather information as needed to support legal cases and projects.
8. Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and firm information.
9. Team Support: Provide support to other team members as needed, including assisting with special projects and events.
What we’re looking for:
1. Experience as a Legal Office Manager, PA, or similar role
2. Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
3. A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
