Drain down, repair and recommissioning of PP-R and Mapress pipework on the Hot and Cold-water systems, and maintaining accurate repair progress records. Survey PP-R pipework systems to identify quantity of repairs required Supporting the Project Testing and investigation programme Immediate escalation of critical failures or incidents that may impact the repair programme What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: NVQ 3 in plumbing/ City and Guild or equivalent, a Aquatherm Installer – Electrofusion and Thermal-fusion qualification along with a Mapress SS installation qualification. Experience: Proven experience of working for med-large Facilities Management Organisation with experience in maintaining industrial and commercial wet systems. Experience in maintaining, commissioning and bringing into service PP-R pipework and Chemical dosing and testing of closed loop heating systems. Specialised in Sterilisation and chlorination of open loop water systems and able to demonstrate experience of working on a military establishment. Skilled and IT literate (inc. use of PDA) Skills: To be customer focused, have a proactive ‘can do’ attitude with a flexible approach, and strong communication (written & verbal) skills. A strong team player and problem-solving skills Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required. Additional Information: Our garrisons are tobacco-free working environments.
