The opportunity
Enjoy a rewarding career in education and make a real impact on pupils’ lives. Join an amazing team making our schools and classrooms supportive and enriching environments where vulnerable pupils and young people achieve more than they expected.
As a 1:1 Pupil Support Worker, you will connect directly with the pupils and young people we care for, helping them maximize their educational experience. Each individual has significant potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys.
You will assist in preparing learning materials and running classroom activities, gaining hands-on experience and supervision. You will also be responsible for addressing their emotional and physical needs, supporting their development as individuals and their engagement with the world.
Supporting pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is important and rewarding work. You will benefit from the support of our experienced teams. As you help our pupils achieve progress, you will see the positive impact on their developing lives.
Who we are looking for
You should be adaptable and willing to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, depending on individual needs. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may run classroom activities, lead outdoor experiences, or supervise pupils exploring further afield.
Our schools are built on teamwork and mutual support. If you enjoy working as part of a dedicated team, sharing knowledge and experience, please complete our safeguarding-compliant application form. A team member will contact you.
