Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health, Big Data Institute, Li Ka Shing Centre for Health Information and Discovery, Old Road Campus, Oxford OX3 7LF We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research position embedded within the Pioneer Centre for Statistical and computational Methods for Advanced Research to Transform Biomedicine (SMARTbiomed). The Centre was established in 2024 and receives a combined grant of DKK 250 million from the Lundbeck Foundation, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Villum Foundation, the Carlsberg Foundation and the Danish National Research Foundation. The Centre is anchored at Aarhus University and is a collaboration of researchers from Aarhus University, University of Copenhagen, and University of Oxford. This post is associated with the research group of based in the Big Data Institute at the University of Oxford. The role will involve developing novel artificial intelligence (AI)-based methods for multi-omics data analysis and will require establishing collaborations with Danish research partners. You will have a PhD in a quantitative subject (e.g. mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering) and possess experience of developing statistical and computational models using AI. This position is full-time and fixed-term for 36 months. This post is available from June 2025 and must end by 31st December 2028.
