Hospital Account Manager (NW England & N.Ireland)

GSK have an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with strong business acumen to join our Respiratory Team (within our General Medicines business unit) as a Hospital Account Manager (HAM). You will be accountable for clinically differentiating our products, building advocacy in key accounts, and working within a high-performing cross-functional team to improve patient outcomes and drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinically differentiate our products with secondary care customers.
2. Build relationships, networks, and advocacy levels for our products with key health care professionals (e.g. secondary care consultants, specialist nurses, pharmacists).
3. Understand respiratory pathways and decision-making processes that impact on prescribing across the Region.
4. Ensure optimal formulary inclusion for our products in all key accounts.
5. Work with our Regional cross-functional team to define and shape local health economy account plans, delivering appropriate peer-to-peer endorsement and primary care events aligned to local account plans.
6. Build, utilise and share insight from key accounts to support strategic planning at both a Regional and National level.
Why you?
We are looking for a sales professional with the following skills to help us achieve our goals:
Basic Qualifications / Experience
1. Degree level or equivalent
2. Current ABPI representative certification
3. Depth of NHS knowledge and understanding
4. Experience as a Hospital Sales Representative/Hospital Account Manager
5. Proven ability to work as part of a cross-functional team
Preferred Skills / Experience
1. Existing Respiratory therapy area experience
2. Ability to lead and support colleagues within cross-functional teams when required
