Job Description:
Become an integral part of our team as an Osbit Engineer responsible for assembly, commissioning, and testing phases. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration and operational readiness of our engineering solutions.
You'll collaborate with design, fabrication, and project management teams to oversee commissioning and testing processes, guaranteeing high-quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the commissioning process for offshore equipment and systems, including planning, execution, customer-facing demonstrations, and documentation.
* Contribute to developing and implementing commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules within project teams.
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration and testing of complex equipment.
* Conduct site inspections and testing to verify subsystem and system performance, compliance with design specifications, and identify potential issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during commissioning, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control problems.
* Provide technical support and training to customers and end-users on commissioned equipment operation and maintenance.
* E nsure all commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
* Collaborate with Project Owners to achieve commissioning milestones within project timelines and constraints.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to improve commissioning processes and methodologies.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience in commissioning engineering, preferably in the offshore or marine industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of offshore equipment and systems.
* Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Working Conditions:
* Based at our Riding Mill headquarters in North East England, working on-site as required.
* Occasional international travel may be required.
* A valid driving license is necessary.
