We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Senior Social Worker to join our award winning adult social care team at Wokingham Borough Council on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is part of our incredible Preparing for Adulthood team working with young people aged 14 up to 25 to help them transition into Adult Social Care. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in ensuring that the quality and performance are met by providing guidance, support, supervision, and/or line management to registered and non-registered social care professionals. With a focus on the health, safety, and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals and those who care for them, you will work in accordance with the Care Act 2014 to assess, review, or reassess the complex needs of customers and their carers within the borough. You will also provide advice and guidance as well as access to support services in line with their eligible needs.
