This is a permanent position and will be on the dayshift pattern working 39 hours per week. We pay referral fees for successful candidates referred by you Get in touch to learn more The Role As the Production Control Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the production Process and ensuring readiness for all manufacturing operations. Duties & Responsibilities As the Production Control Lead you will be responsible for the following: Manage all production processes to ensure a smooth execution for all manufacturing operations within EFACS. Develop EFACS using CI tools, methods and digitalisation. Liaise with the Engineering department on routing methods and also ensure program requests are submitted in a timely manner. Ensure all ECNs are captured and processed. Enforce production control procedures and ensure these are followed and adhered to at all times. Monitor plan v actual & work with the Manufacturing Lead to ensure Partmasters are updated to support future bids. Manage resources so that planning is complete in a timely manner through delegation of work. Communicate and provide feedback to the Master Scheduler regarding any routing amendments. Attend pre-production meetings (PPM’s) to represent the production department and ensure that any concerns or complications are highlighted. Run daily meetings to drive efficiency through the planning department. Drive a culture of 5S workplace organisation, H&S & quality. Requirements To be considered for the Production Control Lead you must have the following experience: Previous experience within the oil and gas industry is preferred but not essential Minimum 5 years’ experience operating ERP systems. Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar. EFACS experience is advantageous. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control methodologies. Proficiency in using manufacturing software, ERP systems, and other relevant tools for production management and analysis. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
