Job Summary
The Facilities Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school's facilities. This includes managing the maintenance team, coordinating repairs and maintenance programmes, and overseeing the upkeep of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the facilities team and provide day-to-day supervision for planned and responsive repair programmes
* Ensure that facilities are maintained to a high standard and that the facilities team exercise their full responsibilities, duties, and tasks
* Coordinate the relevant areas of capital and operational expenditure
* Monitor and audit schedules of work and the quality of completed projects
* Liaise with external providers to ensure cost-effective contracts are in place and reviewed regularly
* Prioritize and organize planned and responsive workload for all areas of responsibility
* Manage all on-call/out-of-hours response rotas to ensure satisfactory outcomes and be part of the on-call team
* Obtain maximum economy and efficiency in all works
Requirements
* Full UK driver's license required
* Good numeracy and literacy skills essential
