About the role:
As Social Media Manager, you’ll play a crucial role within our agency, working alongside a talented team to deliver integrated digital campaigns that combine creative content development, performance marketing, and community management. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who thrives on multitasking, managing their own workload, and building long-term client relationships to achieve exceptional results.

Key responsibilities:
Organic social media & community engagement
1. Manage and grow social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) for a range of B2B and B2C clients.
2. Draft organic social calendars to deliver engaging, relevant, and timely content that aligns with brand objectives.
3. Engage with online communities, respond to feedback and enquiries, and maintain an active and positive brand presence across platforms.
4. Monitor competitor performance and benchmark client results to ensure competitive positioning and ongoing results.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and changes in the social landscape.
Social media campaign execution
1. Work alongside our Digital Strategy Director to develop and implement detailed social media/digital marketing strategies that align with client business goals and KPIs.
2. Plan paid content calendars, ensuring a strong, cohesive narrative across all social platforms.
3. Manage, A/B test and optimise end-to-end paid campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, X, Google and other relevant platforms.
4. Conduct audience research and segmentation to define targeting strategies that reach the right audience at the right time.
5. Collaborate with designers and influencers to develop high-performing ad creatives that resonate with target audiences.
Analytics & reporting
1. Build detailed performance reports for both organic and paid activity, summarising key insights, trends, and areas of improvement.
2. Use platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and HubSpot to gather and interpret data.
3. Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting tailored to client goals, clearly communicating campaign performance in a way that stakeholders can easily understand.
4. Implement tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and conversion events to ensure accurate campaign attribution and performance measurement.
Client relationship management
1. Regularly meet with clients to present campaign updates, share insights, and provide recommendations.
2. Build and nurture strong client relationships through effective communication and proactive support.
HubSpot onboarding & management
1. Lead the onboarding process for clients using HubSpot (Marketing and/or Sales Hub), ensuring seamless setup and configuration of accounts.
2. Train clients on key features and functionalities, including workflows, email automation, and audience segmentation.
3. Manage ongoing maintenance and optimisation of HubSpot portals to ensure marketing processes are efficient and aligned with campaign objectives.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate HubSpot data into wider reporting and client strategies.
Mentoring & team development
1. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development.
2. Review and provide constructive feedback on junior team members' work, ensuring content and campaigns meet agency and client expectations.
3. Lead by example by demonstrating best practices in social media management, content creation, and client communication.
What you’ll bring:
1. Proven experience managing B2B and B2C social media and digital campaigns in an agency or in-house environment.
2. Strong understanding of how digital marketing and social media aligns with business objectives.
3. Ability to evaluate campaign performance and optimise for ROI using data-driven insights.
4. Excellent communication, writing, collaboration, and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in HubSpot Marketing Hub (Sales Hub experience is a bonus).
6. At least 1+ years of experience running paid social media ads (Meta, LinkedIn, X).
7. Exceptional attention to detail, a flair for creativity, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Bonus skills:
1. Experience creating basic graphic design and video editing.
2. Experience using social listening tools.
3. Familiarity with Google Ads and Google Tag Manager for cross-platform tracking and reporting.
4. Knowledge of website CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix or HubSpot CMS for content updates.
5. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for editing email templates and landing pages.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE
