About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join a specialist neurological care centre. This role involves coordinating high-quality, person-centred care while also providing supervision, coaching, and mentoring to junior staff.
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering and delegating care tasks in a safe, clean, and supportive environment
* Promoting individual rights, preferences, and dignity
* Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation
* Supporting a culture of continuous learning through induction and mandatory training
* Encouraging feedback and addressing concerns to enhance service user experience
Qualifications:
* Level 3 in Health and Social Care
Required Skills:
* S/NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
* Numerate, literate, and competent in IT
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
* Leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
* Familiarity with audit processes
* Role-specific competencies
Additional Information:
* Enhanced rates apply:
* 30% for weekends (Friday midnight to Sunday midnight)
* 60% for public holidays (24 hours, midnight to midnight)
