The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic senior Neurological Physiotherapist (Grade 2 or 3) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Cabrini Brighton.
As a senior physiotherapist, you will work within our multidisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation team, which delivers rehabilitation for up to 50 patients, and will have clinical expertise in the field of neurological physiotherapy. Other key patient cohorts you will work with include orthopaedics and reconditioning patients. You will be responsible for delivering clinical care to our rehabilitation patients and providing supervision and clinical oversight to Grade 1 physiotherapists, students, and AHAs.
You will also get the opportunity to be involved in quality projects and will work closely with the Physio Rehabilitation Team Leader to ensure high quality and consistent practice across our service. We will provide access to professional development and supervision from senior staff, allowing you to further extend your own clinical, education and leadership skills.
This is a full-time clinical role, working Monday to Friday at Cabrini Brighton. Occasional weekend or public holiday work may be required.
Key responsibilities:
* Contribute to rehabilitation caseload management, through delivery of high quality and evidence-based physiotherapy input.
* Support junior physiotherapists, AHAs and students.
* Contribute to quality work, service development and staff performance.
* Work with the multi-disciplinary team and other key stakeholders to ensure a high quality, patient-centred rehabilitation service.
About you:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Grade 2 or 3 Physiotherapist who is passionate about leading high quality patient centred care in a sub-acute setting, in line with our Cabrini mission and values.
You will have:
* A physiotherapy degree, as well as current registration with AHPRA.
* Well consolidated post-graduate experience in neurological physiotherapy in a sub-acute setting.
* Strong team approach and good communication skills within a multi-disciplinary team.
* An ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Great organisation and time management skills.
* Post-graduate professional development relevant to the role.
