*Role responsibilities*
The Workplace Coordinator will provide effective maintenance, janitorial and administrative duties necessary for the company to carry out its core business across all of its office locations.
* Complete safety checks and audits across all Transport for Wales office locations (e.g. hazardous substances, fire safety, furniture safety checks, legionella checks etc.) by working with the Safety and Sustainability team to provide a safe environment for all colleagues and visitors.
* Provide a proactive and reactive service across all offices by engaging with internal stakeholders and coordinate with suppliers to support TfW's accommodation needs and day to day operational activities.
* Provide a point of contact for all TFW colleagues and visitors at St Patrick’s House in Cardiff by attending site on a rota basis to ensure there is a presence on site.
* Management and control of contractors attending all TfW offices by carrying out check-ins and issuing of permits to work to ensure the relevant contractors are on site as required.
*Who we’re looking for*
* Previous soft facilities management experience.
* IOSH qualified (or willing to undergo training in the first 3 months of commencing the role).
* Good IT skills with experience of using a range of Microsoft Office software.
* Good attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve Health and Safety issues.
*Welsh Language Skills*
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
