Summary of main duties:
Responsible for the retention and recruitment of players in the clubs academy, academy shadow & academy development teams from U8-U23s.
Deliver structured coaching sessions to the academy development players.
Assist in the delivery of the U19s programme.
Responsible for some of the operational tasks within the academy structure.
Responsibilities & Key Duties
Coaching
1. Plan, Deliver & Review highly structured coaching sessions for the U19s teams at KES in conjunction to the Academy philosophy and coaching programme.
2. Plan, Deliver & Review structured coaching sessions for all academy development players from U8-U16.
3. Ensure the training programme is clearly detailed with careful consideration in regards to periodisation and player needs.
4. Open approach to your daily tasks with constant liaison with all relevant departments including Academy, Physiotherapy, Analysis, Recruitment & 1st Team.
5. Communicate professionally with players, parents & staff on a regular basis.
Match Days
1. Attend match days with U19s as and when required.
2. Attend match days with the U8-U16s as and when required.
3. Assist in arranging necessary ad-hoc fixtures for the Pre-Academy & Academy Development teams.
Recruitment
1. Liaise closely with the clubs academy staff on a weekly basis.
2. Liaise with both grassroots and professional football clubs in regards to potential players for the clubs academy.
3. Complete recruitment throughout the academy ensuring all spaces within the academy are full.
4. Assist in ensuring all players have completed the relevant forms and payment schedule.
5. Assist with school taster days/open evenings, opportunities to coach potential recruits to the academy & exit trials.
6. Assist in designing and implementing a player package for when a player joins the academy.
Operational/General Duties
1. Ensure all communication is as clear and effective as possible.
2. Ensure all players are on their relevant plans.
3. Ensure the necessary files are kept up to date working closely with all staff members.
4. Assist with keeping our team fee pay, whole game and GotSport systems up to date.
5. Assist with booking transport, officials and pitches.
6. Liaise with coaches and other staff members on a consistent basis to ensure the U8-U16s recruit successfully.
7. Keep all necessary qualifications up to date as per the FA guidelines.
8. Undertake other duties as directed by the Academy Staff & Chairman.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
