Opogo and our community of schools are looking for adaptable candidates to work within our Secondary School on a long-term supply basis.
About the role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and well-run Secondary School. You will be working 1-1 and in small groups with students who have varying needs. Previous school-based experience would be desirable, and candidates must be comfortable working with KS3 and KS4.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced with working with SEND pupils.
Good behaviour management skills.
Previous experience working with SEND pupils.
Good interpersonal skill and knowledge of SEND best practices.
Eager to support students academically and emotionally.
Ability to work in a team collaboratively to ensure pupil progression academically and emotionally.

Opogo are seeking out all graduates to work within our North London Secondary Schools. The schools are actively looking for short-term and long-term candidates who can work within KS3-year groups. These roles are set to start after the half term and are suitable for all. Your general duties within the classroom will include working alongside the teacher to ensure all children are working to the best of their ability, as well as working 1:1 or within small groups of children who may need additional help.
The pay range advertised is based on employment through an umbrella company.
