A well-established housing organisation is looking for a Scheme Manager to manage a patch of properties in South Wales. This role involves overseeing a scheme for retirement living, all based on one site. You will be helping to ensure the residents receive the best service while ensuring building safety and compliance.
Job Title: Scheme Manager
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, Full time hours, 35 hrs Mon-Fri, Temporary contract
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring excellent housing management services
2. Providing great customer service
3. Assisting with welfare benefits checks, rent, and payment queries
4. Responsible for void sign-ups within the scheme, ensuring all vacant properties are allocated within set time frames
5. Helping to maximise tenants' independence
6. Completing regular compliance checks including health and safety, building safety in line with regulatory requirements
7. Maintaining positive relationships with our customers
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Experience carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
3. Good customer service skills
4. The ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
