Workshop Manager / Lead Cabinet Maker
Job description
We are looking for a Workshop Manager to help run our bespoke kitchen and furniture workshop near Henley-on-Thames.
The role would entail the constructing, assembling and supervising of a variety of projects that could range from a simpler wardrobe to a more complex hotel kitchen or bar.
You would be helping and leading a group of talented cabinet makers with a mix of experience. We are a relatively small operation with a positive can-do atmosphere.
The role may suit an existing workshop or an experienced cabinet maker who is looking to take that next step in terms of responsibility and wants to expand their skillset.

What We Are Looking For
Joinery Experience - Someone who has a strong background in the making of furniture and kitchen cabinetry and will be able to help make and assemble cabinetry and also delegate work to others.
Strong Communicator - Comfortable with leading a small team and assisting with questions that they might raise. There will be a need to liaise with designers and business owner to discuss upcoming projects
Natural Leader - Responsible for planning and overseeing varied projects from start to finish. Fostering a positive / can-do atmosphere in the workshop
Project Management Assisting senior management with estimating the time to complete jobs and working out the most efficient order of production.
Problem Solver Coming up with ideas and workarounds to any issues that might occur in the manufacturing process.
