This understanding allows us to apply and\nautomate data governance policies and procedures effectively. LBG is looking\nto drive a more sophisticated approach to how it manages data and how it\ninteracts and services its customers through the optimisation of data and\nanalytics. The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is critical in embedding\ndata and analytics capabilities across the Group to support with delivering\ntoday, whilst preparing us for the advances in the future. The CIB Business\nUnit Data Office (BUDO), serves as a Centre of Excellence and delivery partner\nfor both CIB and LBCM, bringing a diverse mix of colleagues, skills,\nframeworks, and best practices in managing our data effectively and generating\nsubsequent insight and value.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nYou’ll play a key role in supporting Metadata Management initiatives that\ndrive our group-wide Data & Analytics Strategy through the Core data\nidentification and Data Foundations Programme.
Your main responsibilities will\ninclude documenting metadata in the Group’s metadata repository and assisting\ncolleagues in consistently documenting and managing metadata according to\ngroup standards, ensuring compliance with the Group Data Policy across various\nbusiness areas and change programmes.\n\n * Describe data in a central data catalogue to enhance discoverability and usability.\n * Lead documentation of Business and technical data dictionaries and lineage identified Critical Data Element’s (CDEs) and ensure they are appropriately governed.\n * You’ll help promote the Group Metadata repository, enabling Data Owners, Data Consumers, and other stakeholders to derive further value from data and automate the monitoring of progress.\n * Support business areas in metadata documentation and Data cataloguing practices, focusing on Metadata Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance activities.\n * Assist in designing and developing metadata reporting solutions.\n * Support in developing, embedding, and monitoring the adoption of the metadata management framework.\n * Assist in developing and embedding metadata management and governance processes.\n * Champion the use of Group Data management tools.\n * Works independently to collate and analyse data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats.\n * Provide oversight to ensure effective data risk management activities across the organisation.\n\nWhy Lloyds Banking Group\n\nJoin us and, as well as making a difference to customer, you’ll enjoy a\nfulfilling career where you’ll be free to be yourself.
