The Swan’s Nest Hotel is a 17th century building offering 72 rooms, located 5 minute walk from the historic heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Role Responsibilities
You’ll work with the Housekeeping Team to maintain the inventory of linen supplies and ensure that any low stock situations are communicated to the Head Housekeeper. You’ll check guest rooms on a daily basis to determine linen changing requirements and carry soiled or dirty linen to the laundry room.
* Collecting and delivering clean and dirty linen throughout the shift.
* Inspecting all linens to ensure quality standards are adhered to.
* Public area cleaning.
* Documenting and reporting any damaged and stained linens to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Head Housekeeper.
* Stocking all cupboards/trolleys.
* Placing linen and towels in the cages for transport to laundry.
* Ensuring that the linen is neatly and systematically arranged and stacked.
* Managing guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
* Supporting the Housekeeping Team with cleaning guest rooms/suites, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming/cleaning floors, dusting/cleaning furniture and appliances.
* Reporting any guest requests or room maintenance required immediately.
