The Post This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Safety team in Brent Council, that is part of the Safer Brent Partnership. The team works towards reducing violent crime, protecting vulnerable residents, responding to major incidents that affect our community, tackling domestic abuse and preventing violence against women and girls. In this role you will be working with partners across a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure that Brent is compliant with all aspects of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. With support from within the team you will be raising awareness and understanding about the devastating impacts of domestic abuse and embedding local changes as a result of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. The Person We are looking for a professional individual who has great attention to detail alongside the ability to work in collaboration with partners and agencies. The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of domestic abuse and violence against women and girls (VAWG). The ideal candidate will also possess good communication and negotiation skills and will work flexibly, both individually and as part of the team.
