Behavioural Psychologist Reports to Senior Behavioural Psychologist Job Summary The Behavioural Psychologist will lead and support the Health Psychology and Research team, as well as the wider patient engagement team to operate effectively and efficiently in their work as part of the global Patient team within OPEN Health. The Senior Behavioural Psychologist will be accountable for consulting with clients to advise on appropriate methodologies and leading on the oversight and/or delivery of global, regional and local psychology, behavioural science and market research projects as part of a multidisciplinary team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Leading psychology and research projects as a subject matter expert, with the background support of a senior team member Conduct independently desk research-based data immersion exercises, this can include: o Systematic literature reviews to a publishable standard o Competitor and patient advocacy landscape analysis o Strategic audit and analysis of client materials o Social listening (using software such as Pulsar) Lead on conception and delivery of primary research activities involving various stakeholders (adult and paediatric patients, clinicians, patient advocacy and clients) such as: o Creation of primary research materials (e.g. discussion guides, consent forms) o Leadership and management of recruitment activities and data collection (e.g. interview moderation, survey development) o Management of REC or IRB process Facilitate focus groups and co-creation workshops o Facilitate focus groups and co-creation workshops o Analysis of data (qualitative and quantitative) using psychological frameworks Prepare independently presentations and reports (in formats such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Word) and present, and defend, key insights to our clients Attend and contribute to internal and external project callsas subject matter expert Provide ad-hoc pitch proposal support (e.g. desk research, insights gathering) and present such insights in pitch presentations Contribute to service development of the Health Psychology team, including contributing research and ideas to continuously update and expand our offering to clients Demonstrate a solid understanding of pharmaceutical pharmacovigilance procedures and understand the responsibilities of OPEN Health in upholding these requirements. Provide line management and/or mentorship and operational management to Assistant Psychologists as required by the team Build trusting relationships with clients and links with partner organisations to ensure successful delivery of solutions Experience, Skills and Qualifications Skills A strong research experience/understanding, i.e. experience of quantitative and qualitative research and skills in statistical data analysis Ability to turn research findings into actionable insights that meet strategic client needs An understanding of research methods, the different health psychology/behavioural science models (e.g. COM-B Model, Common-Sense Model of Self-Regulation, Health Belief Model etc) and behaviour change techniques which can be implemented within any given solution.
