MAC Recruit Group Accountancy & Finance (Permanent) Division are delighted to be partnering with a hugely successful organisation on the outskirts of Glasgow as they seek to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a full-time, permanent an onsite basis. Study support included.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the purchase & sales ledger process, as well as assisting with credit control and accounts preparation. Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing high volume supplier invoices, payments, and monthly statement reconciliations
* Processing balance sheet reconciliations
* Raising customer invoices and credit notes
* Ensuring all transactions are processed daily and reconciled weekly in bank reconciliation
* Handling VAT return preparation
* Administering electronic and manual bank records/mandates as needed.
* Managing credit card reconciliation
* Assisting with credit control processes
* Performing inter-company reconciliation and control
* Assisting the Management Accountant with accounts preparation
Experience/Qualifications:
* Strong experience in a similar role, with emphasis across purchase ledger, sales ledger & credit control
* Strong IT literacy skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong attention to detail skills
* Ability to work efficiently with good time management
Offering a base salary of up to £28,000 alongside excellent benefits which include study support (following successful probation), private healthcare, pension and discounts.
