Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and detail-oriented Planning, Process, and Production Technician to provide technical support to our production programme. The role involves ensuring the accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency of production and manufacturing procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling products from raw materials to finished goods, utilizing hands-on techniques and operating food processing and packaging equipment.
* Collaborating with the Production team to assess and apply existing and alternative production methods to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Liaising with the Production team to develop production control methods that monitor operational efficiency, aiming to identify and eliminate potential hazards in the production process.
* Liaising with departments responsible for materials procurement, storage, and control to ensure a consistent flow of supplies necessary for production.
* Supporting the implementation of detailed instructions on processes, work methods, and quality and safety standards for workers to ensure compliance and maintain product quality.
* Ensuring the accuracy of manufacturing and testing equipment and implementing inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for materials, components, and finished products.
* Assisting in the development and implementation of plans detailing the sequence of operations and completion dates for each batch production.
Experience Required:
* 1–3 years of experience in food production or manufacturing environments
* 1 year of hands-on production experience and leadership capabilities
Skills Required:
* Understanding of food production machinery and equipment
* Proficiency in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment
* Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP)
* Ability to monitor product quality and identify defects
* Ability to interpret production data and adjust processes accordingly
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Precision in measuring ingredients and calibrating machinery
* Quick identification and resolution of production line issues
* Effective communication with team members and management
* Documentation of production activities and incidents
* Efficient organization to meet production deadlines
* Prioritizing tasks in high-pressure environments
* Physical stamina and ability to work in environments with varying temperatures
* Compliance with hygiene and safety protocols
Qualification Required:
* Relevant Degree or Diploma or equivalent in Food industry
