What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in a vibrant secondary school environment.
2. Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused.
3. Manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting respect and a calm learning atmosphere.
4. Support students with their learning, encouraging participation and resilience.
5. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour during cover lessons.
6. Step up when needed – from mentoring small groups to supporting with intervention and enrichment sessions.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
1. Graduates in Education, Psychology, English, Maths, Science, Humanities or related fields.
2. Confident communicators with the presence to lead a classroom – teaching experience not required!
3. Flexible, reliable, and calm under pressure.
4. Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their education.
5. Experience in a school, youth work, tutoring or coaching environment is a bonus (but not essential).
6. Willing to learn – full training and ongoing CPD provided.
