About the Role:
The Fundraising Director will oversee voluntary income through a range of fundraising activities, developing and managing the fundraising team while working collaboratively across the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Fundraising, and contributing as a key member of the leadership team, you will share collective responsibility to deliver the organisation's strategy, which is underpinned by the need for sustainable fundraising.
The role provides leadership on developing the Scouts' strategic fundraising activities, recognising shared priorities, and meeting financial targets for each portfolio area comprising corporate partnerships, grants, philanthropy, individual giving, and legacy fundraising. You will take the lead in managing external relationships while providing essential briefings and support to senior colleagues and other stakeholders.
About You:
We are seeking a senior leader with a strong background in fundraising, preferably from a senior role with a high-value fundraising focus, keen to develop their skills across a full range of income streams. A track record of team management is essential, and your leadership will be instrumental in helping us achieve ambitious goals.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
