Job Duties:
1. Support students with diverse needs
2. Assist in implementing individual education plan targets
3. Utilise interventions and specialised equipment for student development
4. Provide emotional support and guidance
5. Collaborate with teachers and professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
6. Level 3 qualification or HLTA qualification
7. Degree in a relevant field
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
8. Experience working with students with special educational needs
9. Knowledge of Makaton and other communication strategies
10. Strong literacy and numeracy skills
11. Excellent verbal communication skills
12. Patience and empathy in supporting students
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Additional training in specific interventions such as music therapy or sensory occupational therapy
