We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join Pleasure Beach Resort Group of Companies.
This family owned and run business is widely regarded as one the best amusement parks in the world. Today the business comprises the amusement park, two luxury hotels, theatres, venues, restaurants and attractions.
In this role you will support all employees, through the delivery of training to enhance their knowledge and skills enabling them to fulfil their potential with the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Working with the wider HR team to, build and execute the delivery of a management training programme.
* Design & delivery of all training activity across Pleasure Beach Resort in a range of formats (instructor-led, remote learning, 1-2-1 coaching) including Train-the-Trainer.
* Design, develop and implement new eLearning courses to meet departmental and business needs.
* Effective management of all training resources including updating as required for both workshops and eLearning.
* Design and deliver all on-boarding training resources, including Company Induction.
* Evaluation of both internal and external training courses/materials to ensure effectiveness of training across the business.
* Development and maintenance of the company apprenticeship programme and NVQ work based qualifications.
* Regular reviews of all learners on NVQ work based qualifications and liaison with external training providers.
* Co-ordination of all internal and external training including: arranging dates, venues, booking courses and issuing relevant paperwork.
* Ensure employee records are kept up to date with e-learning modules, in-house and external training courses.
Role Requirements:
* Experience in designing and/or delivery of training
* Strong IT skills
* Presentation skills
* Training or teaching qualification is desirable
