This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing client accounts, commercial assets, and the resource mobilization process.This role emphasises a collaborative approach, working closely with Technical Operations to design and deliver client-specific proposals that align with strategic objectives. Additionally, it involves partnering with Talent Acquisition to ensure the effective allocation and deployment of resources.The Senior Business Manager also takes full commercial ownership of account profitability, tendering processes, and resource mobilisation, ensuring optimal utilisation of available skill sets while maintaining a focus on business scalability and customer satisfaction.RolePromote the full range of Akkodis services and solutions, including time-and-materials services, consulting, outsourcing, nearshore/offshore delivery, and externalsed project offload models.Lead account management, focusing on revenue growth, “land and expand” strategies, and upselling within existing relationships.Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, including cold canvassing.Prepare and deliver professional, persuasive proposal presentations to clients and stakeholders.Manage account P&L and commercial activities, such as bids, RFIs, and tender processes.Collaborate with Technical Operations to deliver client-aligned proposals.Coordinate with Talent Acquisition for resource allocation and mobilisation.Oversee consultant project assignments, follow-ups, and career development.Implement actions to ensure retention and minimise inter-project periods for consultants.Manage bench capacity, optimising the placement of available consultants between projects.Deliver weekly, monthly, and annual data reports and provide insights during presentations to internal and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage the entire deal cycle, from identifying client needs to solution delivery.Develop strong, lasting relationships with clients to anticipate their evolving requirements.Participate in external events to expand Akkodis’ network and brand presence.Proactively optimise consultant utilisation and ensure alignment with client projects.Monitor and present metrics to assess account performance and drive decision-making.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering professional development and a collaborative culture.Required SkillsStrong communication and relationship-building capabilities.Negotiation and entrepreneurial mindset.Client- and results-driven approach.Fluency in EnglishRequired Experience4-7 years in a fast-paced environment, ideally in engineering, consulting, or recruitment.Required educationBachelor’s or master’s degree in business-related fields or an engineering degree with a business specialisation.
