MCR Property is looking to employ a hands-on Cleaning Supervisor. Must have supervisory experience and be able to support the site manager to deliver exceptional cleaning standards across all areas of the site through a team of 13+ cleaning operatives. As a Cleaning Supervisor, your regular working days will typically be Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm. However, we expect you to be available to work at least one weekend day per month as part of your role to ensure consistent oversight of weekend operations. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working in a busy environment, as part of a team, and who can communicate at all levels.
Additionally, you will be required to support with the completion of weekly rotas, weekly timesheets, consumables ordering, and must possess basic IT skills.
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be in charge of undertaking cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning/housekeeping service is provided in compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Build effective relationships and ensure that employees are working productively and safely.
2. Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous, and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
3. Work closely with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.
4. Support and guide the site cleaning teams to achieve excellent service levels.
5. Provide and manage comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, etc.) ensuring the service meets high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
6. Report any maintenance issues (damages, faults) to management teams.
7. Work with customers to address any specific requirements or concerns.
8. Carry out regular site cleaning audits and address any failures.
9. Support in the recruitment and training of new employees, including site familiarisation detailing cleaning regime, waste procedures, as well as opening and lock-up procedures.
10. Provide hands-on cleaning support across sites and respond to cleaning requests as required.
11. Provide up-to-date safety and toolbox talks for training on a regular basis and keep accurate records.
12. Schedule and assign specific duties and roles to cleaners and ensure they are carried out and maintained to the correct standards.
13. Support in rota organisation as well as providing accurate timesheets.
14. Manage equipment, materials, and stock levels and place orders where required.
15. Contribute to and maintain good relationships with customer representatives on site.
16. Complete the regular audits required to measure the cleaning performance.
17. Ensure that the team complies with all statutory regulations at all times.
