Here's what the role will look like You will be required to work with our customers to help translate business requirements into technical solutions. You will be viewed as a Trusted Advisor to our customers business. You will be required to: provide technical support, lead meetings, produce High Level Designs, Scope of Works and, Low Level Design documentation and present these. Meeting relevant stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Producing HLD, Specifications and BoMs. Delivering technical workshops, demonstrations, and presentations to the business. Requirements What we are looking for: Excellent knowledge with Cisco switching and routing technologies Excellent knowledge Firewall configurations, firewall segregation and ruleset. Preferably Fortinet Good understanding of Operational Technology security regulations An enthusiastic technologist and willing learner Someone with a good understanding of business challenges across energy and renewables Someone who can articulate the benefits of the solutions being presented and tailor the delivery to suit the audience Software Defined Networking Experience (SDA / DNA / SD-WAN / ACI) would be highly advantageous Experienced up CCIE or CCDE level Design, Implementation, deployment and commissioning of the Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and Fortinet switches at UK and ROI sites Key requirement for the Fortinet FortiGate firewall deployment to interface directly and provide an essential point of control method for the customer network environment Integration and working alongside customer operational infrastructure teams and ensuring the Fortinet devices integrate with existing Fortinet management platforms Review and analysis of the current site network and security configuration including all the polices, objects and rulesets, align and duplicate onto the new Fortinet Infrastructure Plan and review all the physical and VLAN interfaces and ACLs on existing sites firewall with migrating the existing VLAN’s and setting up new DMZ’s on the Fortinet FortiGate firewall cluster Planning and Deployment of migration of all firewall traffic from customer locations to new Fortinet FortiGate firewalls Integration and working alongside the customer Operational infrastructure teams and SSE SOC team with any firewall & management platform configuration work on the Fortinet FortiGate firewall Benefits At Sword, our core values and culture are based on caring about our people, investing in training and career development and building inclusive teams where we are all encouraged to contribute to achieve success.
