We have an exciting opportunity within our Academic Support Department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Support Teacher.
About the role:
You will join on a full time or part time permanent basis.
The postholder will be responsible for:
1. Planning, delivery, and evaluation of personalised teaching sessions tailored to the needs of pupils with SpLD
2. Employ evidence-based strategies and interventions to support literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas, where appropriate
3. Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify pupil needs and track progress in line with the College's procedures
4. Create and maintain Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), reviewing them regularly in collaboration with pupils, parents, and colleagues
5. Maintain detailed and accurate records of pupil progress and interventions
6. Work closely with the SENDCo and teaching staff to provide advice and strategies for classroom differentiation
