Finance and Spend Management Senior Solution Sales Executive

ROLE DESCRIPTION
In 2025, SAP will have merged the Finance and Procurement functions into one line of business and suite of solutions. This is an exciting time to join the team with an enhanced portfolio of solutions and opportunities. The primary purpose of the Senior Solution Sales Executive is to achieve their overall revenue goal within the Finance and Spend Management space, bringing a strong Point of View to help customers manage their spend.
The Senior Solution Sales Executive must create a complete territory business plan that generates at least 4 times their quota in pipeline opportunity. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing and driving strategy, and nurturing executive relationships while positioning the SAP executive team.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Work with the Sales Manager and account team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals.
* Collaborate with value advisory, presales, and marketing to educate target accounts on the solution set and conduct account planning for strategic deals with the industry team.
* Uncover and run sales cycles & opportunities.
* Lead efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within named accounts at a CFO/CPO level.
* Attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named customers.
* Develop sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts.
* Advise customers and prospects with an educated and thought-through Point of View on how to improve their business.
WORK EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions.
* Experience selling to CXOs.
* Proven track record in target achievement.
* Good knowledge of Cloud-based solutions and business practices.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology).
* Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred.
* Finance and/or Procurement Sales Product Solution Knowledge highly preferred.
