Category Manager - Beverages
£60,000 + 20% Bonus + Private Medical + additional benefits
Surrey or London office 2-3 days a week
Are you a procurement professional looking for a strategic, high-impact role in the food and beverage sector? This is an opportunity to take ownership of a £30m cold beverage category within a £270m retail spend, driving procurement excellence and supplier innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Develop and implement category strategies to maximise value.
* Manage supplier relationships, leading contract negotiations and driving commercial success.
* Identify market trends and growth opportunities to enhance offerings.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure category alignment with business objectives.
* Own financial and commercial KPIs, ensuring strong performance across the category.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven procurement experience, ideally within food and beverages.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
* A strategic thinker with excellent supplier relationship management skills.
* Analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable insights.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
