We are seeking an experienced Rent Arrears Manager to join our team at Marks Consulting Partners. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all rent and service charge income is collected efficiently and effectively, while maintaining positive relationships with tenants.
About the Role

You will work closely with the Income Manager and other members of the team to achieve our goals, leveraging your expertise to optimise income recovery and reduce arrears.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rent arrears across various tenancies, using your knowledge of relevant laws and regulations to inform decision-making
- Liaise with tenants to resolve disputes and address concerns, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Collaborate with the housing management team to implement effective strategies for reducing arrears and improving customer satisfaction
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of housing law and regulations, including Pre-action Protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record of managing rent arrears and delivering exceptional customer service
