The Role
As a Support & Integration Officer, you will provide dedicated advice and guidance to refugees, helping them successfully integrate into their new communities.
Conducting thorough assessments, you will create personalised support plans tailored to each individual's needs, offering advice and assistance on areas such as housing, finance, employment and social connections.
You will also facilitate connections with internal and external services, ensuring each person has access to comprehensive resources to support their resettlement.
Additionally, you will:
* Organise group trips and house meetings to promote community involvement
* Develop partnerships with external organisations to advance refugee needs
* Manage and maintain accurate case records
About You
To be considered as a Support & Integration Officer, you will need:
* Experience working with asylum seekers or refugees in a voluntary or paid capacity
* Experience providing advice and guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support
* Experience creating support plans and completing needs assessments
* Experience and knowledge of working with people with complex/multiple support needs
* Experience and capability to support refugees in the UK
* An understanding of the importance of safeguarding in relation to working with vulnerable adults
Due to the nature of this post, an enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for successful applicants, but only with their prior consent.
