Overview We are looking for a Trainer to join our team in Hams Hall. The successful applicant will ensure all training standards within designated areas are complied with and the training process is consistent and complies with RTITB standards. Hours are predominately Monday to Friday, however flexibility is required to cover shifts during the weekends and nights on occasion. Salary - £30k to £31k How will you contribute? Deliver planned training programmes to the required professional standards in line with RTITB standards. To test and access basic skills of individuals and document their progress, in accordance with site procedures. To adapt training techniques to individual needs, if required. To keep your own training qualifications and experience up to date. To conduct site inductions for all new joiners and this may include agency staff and visitors to site, in accordance with company policy. To deliver manual handling training to all staff. To ensure all training documentation is current, accurate and complies with legal requirements/standards. Deliver SSOW training alongside MHE and MH. Review, amend and keep all SSOW/SOPs up to date. To be involved in the re-training or re-assessment of any incident/accident within the warehouse. To ensure Health & Safety is maintained on site by adhering to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Ensure that within the operation a culture of safety is embedded in everything we do. Giving feedback on any identified problems in the training content and/or process. Reviewing and adjusting training methods as appropriate. Effectively communicate to all stakeholders surrounding training requirements. What will you bring? Experience as a Trainer within a similar environment Very good written and verbal communication skills and well-developed presentation skills. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage own time. Working knowledge of Microsoft office packages would be preferred. Able to build rapport rapidly and effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work as a team and on your own initiative. Understanding of Quality and Health and Safety Standards. MHE Licences with a minimum of 2 years experience of driving Counterbalance/Reach Truck. RTITB Instructor/Examiner licence (training can be provided). What do we offer?
