Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with one a leading supplier into the foodservice industry across the UK, ROI and internationally for over 30 years to recruit for a Maintenance Technician.
As a maintenance Technician you will be primarily focused on ensuring effective resolution of maintenance problems as they arise in line with the business' preventative maintenance plan including fault finding and breakdown repairs.
Duties will include
1. Ensure Equipment is properly set up and maintained, monitoring performance and carrying out fault diagnosis and running adjustments/repairs as required
2. Ensuring all engineering maintenance work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation.
3. Repair production equipment to current Company standards to optimize performance of production machinery and ancillary equipment.
4. Plan for and assist with the installation of new or relocated machinery / equipment
5. Maintain accurate and organised records of your work, both written and electronic
What you'll need
6. At least 5 years' experience in a mechanical or electrical hands-on maintenance role
7. An approved apprenticeship with relevant level 3 Mechanical/Electrical or Engineering Qualification
8. Experience in problem-solving and rectification on a variety of equipment/machinery
9. Understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
10. Experience of fault-finding using wiring diagrams
11. Knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment
12. A full, valid driving licence
