We are currently working with a highly successful regional contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a large programme of refurbishment projects. This role will involve working across multiple sectors, including Heritage, MoD, and Commercial refurbishment projects, with values of up to £2m.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate all site staff and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
2. Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all site workers are fully briefed on safety protocols.
3. Drive the delivery of the site, ensuring it runs to the programme and remains within budget.
4. Uphold the highest standards of health and safety across all areas of the site.
5. Oversee site operations from inception to completion, ensuring quality and client satisfaction at every stage.
6. Ensure effective client liaison, especially when working in occupied environments.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment projects up to £2m, particularly within the MoD, Commercial, and Heritage sectors.
2. Full understanding of managing projects from inception through to completion.
3. Strong client liaison and communication skills.
4. SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification are essential.
5. Willingness to undergo DBS/security clearance.
6. Excellent IT skills to support project management and reporting.
